Commonly asked questions and answers
What if I don't want to talk about God?
That's fine, not every conversation has to be about Jesus. It is okay to get to know someone and build relationships outside of your normal circle of friends. Our mission is to build relationships that will one day lead others to know God more.
Is there really a God?
There are only three honest answers to this question:
Think about where you stand on this issue and why you believe this. Are your views on God based on your own research or are they based on something you were told or experienced? The answer to this question will determine a lot about how you live your life in this world and in the next.
How can it be that there is only one correct religion?
All belief systems make exclusive claims about the world, and not all of them can be correct. Christianity may be offensive to you in this regard but consider some of the other exclusive claims out there.
Atheism - No one goes to heaven, there is no enlightenment, there is no justice for bad behavior if you die before your punishment on earth
Hinduism - Only those who continuously practice will be freed from Karma
Islam - Muhammad is Allah's greatest and last prophet, and his message supersedes all other past prophets including Jesus
At the end of the day we have to recognize that some truths are mutually exclusive.
How Reliable is the Bible?
The Bible is 98% textually pure. Through all the copying of the Biblical manuscripts of the entire Bible, only 2% has any question about it. Nothing in all of the ancient writings of the entire world approaches the accuracy of the biblical documents.
The 2% that is in question does not affect the core beliefs. The areas of interest are called "variants" and they consist mainly in variations of wording and spelling. Additionally, The New Testament has over 5,000 supporting Greek manuscripts existing today with another 20,000 manuscripts in other languages. Some of the manuscript evidence are date to within 20 years of the original events. In addition, the new testament documents are better preserved and more numerous than any other ancient writings in existence and far surpass the writings of Plato, Aristotle, Homer and countless others. To honestly doubt the authenticity of the Bible, we need to dismiss all other ancient writings. Learn more at carm.org.
What if I live a good life?
How do we judge what makes a life "good"? Deep down, we all know that there is something wrong with the way that we treat each other. The Bible does not try to mask this with good intentions or excuses, but rather bluntly states that we live in a broken world, more than this, it states that we are one of the main causes of this brokenness. (Romans 3:23; Genesis 3:17.)
A good life is still separated from God. The Bible is about how God came down in human form and fixed this. If you want to know more, reach out to us.
What does the Bible say about Homosexuals?
We all need God's grace. Gay or strait, no exceptions.
Can a horrible person convert on his deathbed and get to Heaven?
Yes, deathbed conversions are real. The Gospel is not about what you do in this life, good or bad. The Gospel is about what Jesus did on the cross.
It may not seem fair that a person who was bad his whole life gets to go to heaven because he accepts Jesus, but a good person who doesn't receive Jesus goes to hell.
Whether someone has sinned a great deal or a little, or receives Christ early in life or late in life, salvation is guaranteed to those who truly receive Christ as their Savior and all of their sins are removed. The cleansing sacrifice of Christ on the cross is the only thing that will allow anyone to stand before the infinitely holy presence of God, no matter how good they were on earth.
That being said, none of us know if we we will even be alive tomorrow...

Evangelism is our goal and our vehicle is Discipleship
We believe that the best and most positive way to change the world is to encourage deep and personal relationships with Jesus Christ. New members are brought into 1 on 1 discipleship relationships, which review with the basics of Christianity and culminate in lessons on how to share their faith.
Once the basic discipleship program has been completed, all members are encouraged to sign up in our data-base so that if anyone in their area is interested in knowing more about Christ or reaching out to the church, they can meet them wherever they are at.
